Advice to get an international Scholarship

I compiled this article and the following document, for students seeking or needing motivation for higher education. The motivation to make this document for me, I feel that it’s our ethical, social, and religious duty to improve our knowledge and skills and then serve our society.

This document highlights some aspects, and the aim is to show “How to catch the fish”. It contains a list of some famous and valuable websites to search for academic positions and other useful information (Masters, PhD, and Post Doc). While the main focus is on doctoral opportunities.

Definitely, this list isn’t complete (maybe a few percent), and I will try to update it from time to time, Insha ALLAH. Also, most of this data is by googling and you can do it more by yourself, as well.

Some pieces of advice:

• Step ahead and try, sending an email to Professor and applying for a scholarship won’t harm you, at all. In most cases, it won’t cost you. Just you need to prepare your application and send it via email. That’s it!
• “Please always surf yourself, before asking anyone, anything”. Because in this way, you will explore new paths to find information. And, if you didn’t find the required stuff then feel free to post/ask.
• In Europe, in most places, you don’t need any additional requirements for a scholarship. YES! You don’t even need IELTS/TOFEL, in place of these you can submit a certificate of English Proficiency from your last university (that states you got your education in English and can proceed for PhD in the English language).
• Don’t just look at HEC/NTS, as they have a very limited number of positions, with high competition. On the following websites, you will find a lot of scholarship positions related to your subject.
• If you properly explore your related stuff in the following resources, then you will not only able to get a scholarship for yourself but also will be able to guide a lot of other people.
• For some countries, you must need an academic test, so plan and prepare for your test (GRE general, GRE subject. IELTS, TOFEL if you are interested in US, Canada, UK, and some others as well). If you got a good GRE score, there is no hurdle for you to get a scholarship in these countries.
